I have been practicing yoga for almost twenty years. In 2014, I completed my 200 hour teacher training with YogaGypsy in Springdale, and in 2017 I completed my 300 hour teacher training with LivFree Power Yoga with Annie Q. in Connecticut.
Since then I have continued my education learning about Trauma-Informed Yoga with the TIMBo Collective, Accessible Yoga, and Yoga Nidra. Most recently, I completed a Post-Natal Fitness Specialist Certification with Jessie Mundell’s Post-Natal Fitness Academy, and I am a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner.
As a new mother myself, I have relied heavily on my yoga and meditation practice to get me through stress of motherhood, birthing a newborn in a global pandemic, and my own journey with pelvic pain. All of those factors and living with PTSD, have given me a unique perspective on healing and being trauma-informed in all aspects of care.
