While she did get more flexible, the emotional and mental well-being she gained is what kept her coming back.  She had a home practice for ten years until she finally got up the nerve to attend her first yoga class. In 2014, she completed her 200 hour teacher training with Yoga Gypsy, a vigorous, yet meditative vinyasa style of yoga designed to uproot limiting beliefs with a light-hearted, empowering approach.

Lauren gained her 500RYT status with LivFree Power Yoga.  She’s passionate about bringing yoga everywhere to everyone and has given yoga instruction in hospices, women’s shelters, outdoors, gyms, spas, Soulfire Power Yoga in Greenland, NH, Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH, YogaGypsy in Springdale, AR.  She is a TIMBo (Trauma-Informed Mind Body program) facilitator with yogaHOPE, with experience running TIMBo groups in the New England area and online.  She recently had the pleasure of appearing in J. Brown’s “Gentle is the New Advanced” online training course.

She is passionate about making yoga available to ALL body types and abilities.  She invites you to open yourself to the positive and life changing effects of yoga practice.
